A&P Aircraft Mechanic – Heavy Maintenance
Location: Orlando, FL
Our client is seeking experienced A&P Aircraft Mechanics to join their heavy maintenance team in Orlando, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to work on CRJ-200 aircraft with an immediate start and the potential for contract extension.
Position Details
- Immediate start
- Contract through the end of December (extension possible)
- 40–60 hours per week
- Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
- Heavy maintenance environment
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical discrepancies.
- Remove, install, repair, and replace aircraft systems and components.
- Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and manufacturer manuals.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Requirements
- FAA A&P License.
- Previous heavy maintenance experience on commercial aircraft.
- Experience on the CRJ-200 is highly desirable but not required.
- Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and technical drawings.
- Must provide your own tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
