About the Role
JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Aircraft Sealers to support aircraft production and structural assembly operations in Toulouse, France.
This opportunity is suited to experienced Structural Fitters and Aircraft Sealers with a strong background in sealing applications on commercial or military aircraft.
Previous Airbus A321 production experience is highly desirable; however, experience on other Airbus, Boeing or commercial aircraft will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out various aircraft sealing applications, including aerodynamic sealing, fillet sealing, cap sealing and faying surface sealing.

Perform sealing operations on aircraft structures, including stringers, brackets and structural assemblies.

Prepare surfaces prior to sealing, including masking, sanding and Alodine application.

Mix and prepare sealants in accordance with approved specifications.

Carry out paint touch-ups on aircraft fasteners.

Mix and prepare paint for application.

Follow technical drawings, work instructions and approved aerospace procedures.

Ensure all work meets the required quality and production standards.

Maintain safe, clean and organised working practices.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
-
Minimum 4 years of aircraft structural experience on commercial or military aircraft.

Proven hands-on experience carrying out aircraft sealing applications.

Experience with sealing techniques such as fillet, cap, aerodynamic and faying surface sealing.

Familiarity with aircraft sealants, including B2, A2 or C2.

Ability to prepare surfaces and apply sealants to aerospace quality standards.

Personal tooling required.

Ability to communicate in English, Italian or French.
Applicants do not need to have worked exclusively as Aircraft Sealers. Structural Fitters who have regularly performed sealing applications as part of their duties will also be considered.
Desirable:

Previous Airbus A321 production experience.

Experience working on Airbus, Boeing or other commercial aircraft.

Aircraft production or final assembly experience.

Previous experience carrying out sealing work within an aircraft maintenance environment.

Experience with manual sealant mixing and cartridge preparation.
