About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Stores Lead to support their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing all supply chain functions at the base
- Provide inventory control of aircraft parts and company tooling, including quarantine stores
- Dispense aircraft parts, tools and consumables to maintenance department
- Shipping and receiving of parts, tooling and other items
- Ensure inventory stock levels are maintained to support company operations
- Maintaining accurate parts data in company maintenance tracking system
- Generate repair orders for unserviceable parts and tooling
- Purchase merchandise, materials, components and equipment as required
- Resolve any discrepancies related to purchasing, receiving and stock levels
- Carryout inventory cycle counts as required
- Oversee and control parts activities performed by staff with off-hours stores responsibilities
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in aviation essential
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Experience ordering parts and materials and/or working in a warehouse environment
- Be able to pass security background check for the purpose of airport clearance
- Right to work in the UK
