About the Role
On behalf of our client, an established aviation maintenance and support organisation headquartered in Malta, we are recruiting for a Production Planning Assistant to assist with the planning and scheduling of all Part 145 Maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities
The Role:
- Plan and order maintenance tasks
- Compile line and base maintenance work packs
- Determine and schedule parts, tooling, and equipment
- Support cost calculations and logistics functions
- Support the monitoring of aircraft maintenance programmes (AMPs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Service Bulletins (SBs).
- Ensure all planning activities comply with EASA Part-145 requirements and company procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, maintenance forecasts, and planning metrics.
- Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Provide administrative support during audits and regulatory inspections.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and operational performance.
- Carry out any other duties commensurate with the role, skills, and experience as required by the company.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Full right to work in Malta
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning and aircraft maintenance processes
- Experience working with technical documentation or document control systems
- Familiarity with EASA Part-145 maintenance documentation
