JMC Aviation is working with a respected aviation maintenance organisation to recruit a Materials Stockroom Supervisor / Manager to oversee stockroom operations at their Miami facility.
This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring materials, tooling, and components are managed efficiently and in full compliance with aviation regulatory standards, supporting critical engine MRO operations.
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stockroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely material availability, and adherence to all regulatory and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily stockroom operations including receiving, storage, issuance, and returns of parts, consumables, and tooling
- Lead, train, and schedule stockroom personnel to meet production and operational requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems (Quantum), including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
- Coordinate closely with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability
- Monitor shelf-life items and ensure proper handling of traceable, serialized, and hazardous materials
- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, AS9100, and internal quality standards
- Support internal and external audits through accurate documentation and traceability
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency
- Supervise shipping and receiving activities, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity
- Identify and implement process improvements related to material flow and space utilization
- Promote a safe working environment in line with OSHA and company policies
Required Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or materials management
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience
- Experience with inventory management systems (Quantum preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of material control, traceability, and aviation regulatory requirements
- Experience managing inventory within a high-value environment (e.g. $10M+ inventory)

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle parts and tooling up to 25 lbs using appropriate techniques
- Capability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as required for inspections
- Ability to perform repetitive movements while maintaining high levels of accuracy
