About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for B1 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join a well-established aviation organisation based in Guernsey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineers looking for a new challenge, offering a 7 on / 7 off shift pattern, early and late shifts only, and no night working.

The role will involve working within a busy and varied aircraft maintenance environment, with opportunities to develop your skills and work as part of an experienced Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out and certify aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with company procedures, UK CAA regulations and applicable maintenance requirements.

Other duties involve:

  • Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose aircraft faults and ensure swift and effective repairs to support prompt Return to Service (RTS).
  • Work across line and light base maintenance environments.
  • Lead and supervise unlicensed technicians where required.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation and relevant forms are fully completed.
  • Maintain high standards of engineering practices, including task control, workplace cleanliness and FOD prevention.
  • Support AOG recovery requirements and deployment to out-stations where required.
  • Mentor and support the development of less experienced Engineers and technicians.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Part M.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with UK CAA regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • UK CAA Part-66 B1 or B2 Licence.
  • ATR type rating is highly desirable.
  • ATR type training can be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Previous experience working within an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a skilled Engineering team.
  • Strong understanding of UK CAA regulations and aircraft maintenance procedures.
  • Flexible approach, with the ability to support operational and AOG requirements.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
