We are representing a growing helicopter operator in the mediterranean in the appointment of a Flight Operations Manager, who will also be expected to occasionally fly when required
This senior leadership role will suit somebody who has exceptional prioritisation skills and is able to think and act quickly, always with safety at the heart of their decisions. This is an extremely agile operation, where no two days are the same.
Role Overview
Reporting into senior leadership, you will provide operational direction, support with flying assignments when required and ensure a safe and timely flight operations schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a multi-base operation in a highly changeable environment.
- Lead, manage and support flight crew, standards and operational performance.
- Ensure all flying activity is conducted safely and in full compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Manage a busy flying schedule and adjust as required.
- Arrange pilot training.
Candidate Profile
- An existing license
- Extensive rotary flying experience.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory/air operations requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to develop professional relationships.
- With AW and Airbus types
- HEMS experience would be an advantage
