JMC Aviation is working in partnership with a leading aviation maintenance organisation to recruit skilled Accessory Mechanics to join their team in Miami, Florida.
This is a great opportunity for mechanics with experience in engine accessories to work in a high-quality MRO environment supporting both commercial and military aviation programs.
As an Accessory Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and testing of engine accessories, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved technical data and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform disassembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly of engine and QEC accessories
- Carry out testing of accessories and related components
- Ensure correct configuration, fits, and tolerances during assembly
- Perform servicing procedures in line with approved data
- Interpret and follow technical manuals, drawings, and work scopes
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory and company standards
- Use tools, equipment, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as an aviation mechanic, with a focus on engine accessories (e.g. fuel controls, fuel pumps)
- General understanding of aviation maintenance procedures and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of aviation engines and related components
- Ability to use standard tools and measuring equipment
- Must have a basic toolbox
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle parts and tooling up to 25 lbs using appropriate techniques
- Capability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as required
- Ability to perform repetitive movements while maintaining high levels of accuracy
