About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organization in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder to support their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.
Job Description:
- Carry out TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium components.
- Knowledge of general sheet-metal work or tinsmith practices would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and the ability to interpret technical information.
- Experience in component inspection or compiling work packs is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible and proactive approach to working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Willing to work towards company approvals
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- UKCAA welder license or AWS17.1 welding approvals on TIG welding, aluminium, Inconel, or titanium, is highly desirable.
- Must have right to work in the UK
