JMC Aviation is partnering with a well-established aviation maintenance provider to recruit a Dimensional Inspector to support engine MRO operations in Miami, Florida.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of critical aircraft engine components within a fast-paced, precision-driven environment. The Dimensional Inspector will be responsible for inspecting engine components throughout various stages of the repair and overhaul process, ensuring all parts meet regulatory and OEM standards prior to release.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect materials at induction, pre-route, in-process, and final stages for serviceability
- Segregate and report non-conforming materials in accordance with procedures
- Input inspection data and generate route tags and records
- Verify fits and clearances of matching parts using approved data
- Certify serviceable parts following inspection and/or repair
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs)
- Prepare inspection reports, compliance documentation, and supporting records
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in line with FAA and company requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of experience within an engine MRO or similar environment
- Familiarity with OEM manuals, AD notes, service bulletins, and technical documentation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical publications
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers, calipers, dial gauges) – A practical assessment will be conducted to evaluate inspection and measurement proficiency.
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations and inspection standards
- Powerplant license and/or calibration experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle parts and tooling up to 25 lbs using appropriate techniques
- Capability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as required for inspections
- Ability to perform repetitive movements while maintaining high levels of accuracy
