A Closer Look at a Recent Fixed Price Project

Back to news

Our team recently completed a service bulletin (SB) for a customer on an Embraer 190 aircraft.

The task involved reworking the inboard pylon upper chord, replacing the inboard pylon lower link lug made of aluminium with a new one which was made of titanium.

A stage of the project was the installation of a longitudinal reinforcement splice to recompose the structural load path between aluminium and titanium portions.

The final result ensured safety, compliance and customer satisfaction, with communication on the progress of the project at every stage, giving the customer peace of mind the project would be completed on time.
