JMC Aviation are working with an international cargo company based in Bournemouth, looking to recruit a new Supply Chain Manager to join their team.
This client is known as the worlds only A340-600F operator, providing unique cargo solutions along with a unique P2F conversion. Offering a wide range of services from scheduled programmes to charters and wet/dry leasing availability, the company prides itself on delivering value for its customers through operational excellence and a focus on partner cooperation.
This is a Permanent Position based in Bournemouth, working full-time, Monday- Friday.
The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to liaise with OEM and repair agencies, source potential suppliers and manage procurement.
Other Duties:
– Locate new supply channels
– Chase parts and orders as necessary
– Manage both operational and supply chain
– Work with repair agencies as needed
– Responsible for procurement
– Report to the Technical Director as required
Skills and experience required:
In order to be successful, the Supply Chain Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– OEM experience desired
– A340 experience desired but not essential
– A background in supply chain and procurement
– Experience in a similar role essential
– Right to work in the UK
