JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Luton looking to recruit a new Station Manager to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Luton
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

The Role
The primary purpose of the Station Manager:
The Station Manager is a certifying engineer who is not part of the standard station roster, the role requires administrative and managerial duties with aircraft support as deemed appropriate by them. They are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their line station as well as meeting all regulatory needs and reporting any deficiencies to the Operational Maintenance Manager for their region
In order to be successful in this role the Station Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Qualifed Part 66 License Holder
  • UK CAA with A320 Family (this can be previous experience, does not need current on either recency or license)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Supervisory and managerial experience
  • Engineering background
  • Experience of customer-based
