JMC Aviation are currently recruiting Sheet Metal Workers for a base maintenance contract starting ASAP, for a long-term duration in Birmingham.
Sheet Metal Worker – Birmingham
Start/End: March 2026 – Ongoing
Rate: £36.00 per hour
Shift: Flexible (days or nights)
Hours: 06:00-17:30 OR 17:30-04:00
IR35: Outside
Tools: Provided
Work type: Base Maintenance B737NG
Additional Info: Successful applicants will need to obtain CRCs from countries previously worked in within the last 5 years as part of the security process.
– On-site interview required if application is accepted, followed by a 4-hour trade test (unpaid) held in Manchester.
– LTD company insurance (£1m public liability) required if accepted
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

Right to work in the UK

Previous base maintenance experience on Boeing aircraft

Availability to start ASAP

Valid safety certificates: HF, EWIS, FTS, SMS (including initials)

For IR35 purposes, based on role-based determinations, this role is ‘Outside IR35’.
Unfortunately, candidates without the right to work in the UK will not be considered.
