JMC are working with an MRO company based in Oxfordshire , looking to recruit a new Production Planner to join their team.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain a standard interpretation of task cards reflecting the A400M OMP maintenance requirements. Ensure AMOS Task Cards are compliant to MAA RA’s and procedures meeting the needs of critical and complex maintenance. Support all areas of production support with knowledge and expertise to ensure a job card standard are established and maintained.
Other Duties Involve
- Become expert in all aircraft AMOS job card creation and related workflows.
- Maintain knowledge of Production capabilities and certification requirements.
- Interpret Customer & OEM technical documentation and accurately transfer the information onto AMOS job cards via Template Manager.
- Create, modify, update, and revise all AMOS job cards Templates up to latest revisions and in accordance with agreed standards.
- Ensure MAA RA Part 145 compliance in planning and job cards creation.
- Continuously improve the quality of created job cards and standard applied.
- Participates in development and amendments of internal manuals and work procedures, as required.
- Identify CDCCL, AD, Component Changes, CPCP, duplicate inspection and critical tasks.
- Evaluate RAF OMP revision and define required access, work scope highlights, Component Change special / NDT tasks, and Maintenance data.
- Liaise with the quality department for job card template related requirements and support with the issuance for specific Customer Job card Certification.
- Co-operate with the Planning Engineer to improve the maintenance planning processes.
- Provide the relevant on-the-job training of job card standards to others (as required).
- Ability to work as part of a team and use of current knowledge and future learning to promote continuous improvement is an important aspect of the role.
- Provide positive, collaborative, and effective relationships with all internal external departments and support the development of service provider relationships to ensure the cooperation and open communication with all stakeholders.
- Work efficiently and diligently to ensure that best practice, ideas and techniques are implemented to take special account of the complexity of the project, developing robust communications processes, and outputs are continually being improved.
- Ensure compliance with general and technical company procedures.
- Be open and support internal and external audits, providing solutions to issues and findings as they occur.
- Deputise and support Planning Engineers role in their absence or as required with WP creation in line with Production Planning procedures and work instructions.
- Any other duties and responsibilities identified by the Engineering Planning Manager as it relates to Job card Processes.
In order to be successful in this role the Production Planner will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- University Degree / Diploma or relevant experience in a related field.
- Must have served a recognised technical apprenticeship or training
- Experience of writing or transcribing documents or work instruction would be an advantage.
- Very customer-focused and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience with MS Office Applications expert Excel.
- AMOS key user level.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight schedules.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
- An energetic, dedicated approach combined with excellent organisation skills and a commitment to deadlines, targets, and high work standards.
- Good awareness of Aviation safety.
- Good communication skills.
- Aircraft maintenance experience P145 environment.
- At least 3 years working in a technical department where a level of technical support was being performed.
- Have a level to technical ability (military or civil) that can demonstrate an understanding of the maintenance production process.
- It would be a distinct advantage to have had exposure and experience on AMOS or other integrated aircraft maintenance systems.
- Experience of maintenance data.
- Knowledge of aircraft legislation and MAA regulations.
- Knowledge of technical documentation and drawings
