Position Overview :
Seeking a passionate Manufacturing Process Engineer with a strong background in understanding Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes. This role is ideal for someone with 5-10 years of experience in the aviation MRO space who has a solid grasp of maintenance work instructions across various MRO processes.
The Role:
- Prepare, release, and manage engine work scopes and work instructions for maintenance, repair and overhaul.
- Ability and expertise to convert Repair Manuals to Router Instructions
- Experience with process optimization.
- Ability to convert Engineering instructions to Manufacturing Processes to shop floor
- Experience of working and knowledge of any GE Engine (GE 90, GE NX, LEAP) Manufacturing/MRO would be preferred
- Provide engineering support to other functional areas regarding technical issues related to quality, operations, materials, and customer support.
- Develop and maintain life-limited part reports and engine specific bill-of-materials (BOM), including the incorporation of Service Bulletins/TCTOs, Airworthiness Directives, and any unique file-order requirements.
- Seek opportunities to reduce costs and increase quality and efficiency using new materials, processes, or technology. Participate in project development and implementation.
- Provide engineering support in response to production constraints as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or related engineering field
- Strong experience in understanding of gas turbine engines systems and subsystems
- Good understanding of CMM maintenance manuals for GE engines
- Experience in creating repair schemes, repair procedures adhering to airworthiness requirements
- Well versed with the metallic manufacturing processes aligned to MRO
- Good knowledge on quality inspection, operations and materials
- Basics of static analysis for justification of nonconformities
- Project management activities
- Well versed with the MRB process in addressing technical disposition
- Must have ability to speak, read, write Hungarian
