Location: Barry, Cardiff
We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Junior Technician to join our Production Department in Barry, Cardiff, and help us deliver safe, reliable, and technically excellent repair and overhaul services for our customers.
- Assemble, disassemble, and test aircraft components to the highest standards.
- Clean and prepare components while maintaining a safe, tidy work environment.
- Complete relevant documentation accurately and on time.
- Use company computer systems for work transactions and compliance.
- Follow all Health, Safety, Fire, and Environmental policies.
- Maintain company quality standards at every stage.
- Support other tasks across the Production Department as needed.
- 3 GCSE passes (Maths, English, Science) OR relevant NVQ/GNVQ/C&G in engineering with 1 year’s vocational training.
- Strong hand skills for stripping, cleaning, repairing, and overhauling components.
- Basic test equipment experience (training provided if needed).
- Ability to interpret and apply maintenance data in a practical way.
- Computer literacy and a proactive approach to learning.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Soldering/de-soldering skills are an advantage.
- Full training and mentoring to achieve your Junior Technician qualification within 6 months.
