JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Prestwick, looking to recruit a new Junior Commercial Analyst to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Prestwick.
Working Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 14:30.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide ongoing support to the senior commercial analyst and assisting in the day-to-day administrative function of the finance department.
Other Duties Involve
Cleanse daily clocking data from time management systems
Assist with daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Tracking project profitability
Facilitate verification and approval of incoming vendor invoices
Issue temporary security passes when required
General administrative tasks as required to support the wider Finance Team
In order to be successful in this role the Junior Commercial Analyst will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Proficient in MS Excel including basic formulas such as vlookup, xlookup, if(s) and conditional formatting (Experience with Smartsheet would be considered an advantage)
– Comfortable collating and manipulating data
– Great attention to detail
– Curiosity and an analytical mindset
Desirable (training can be provided):
– Experience with Navision / MS Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting software (prior experience with any ERP system would be considered an advantage)
– Experience with time tracking management
– Understanding of basic accounting concepts
