JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Southend, looking to recruit a new Hydraulics Technician to join their team.
This client is a leading MRO which have been operating for over 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and helping their employees progress within their roles. They offer in-house component repair, overhaul and maintenance of a range of aircraft types.
This is a Permanent Position based in Southend.
Working Monday – Friday (08:00 – 16:30).

The Role
The primary purpose of this to carry out testing and repair and overhaul of various hydraulic aviation components.
Other duties involve:
– Test, repair and overhaul of various hydraulic aviation components in accordance with original manufactures manuals and instructions
– Prepare workshop reports and material reviews to allow the purchasing and commercial departments to create customer estimates
– Aid in bringing in new capability and researching new improved ways to save with cost and turn-time.
– Undertake risk assessments and ensure safety requirements are met
– Understand customer needs and ensure these are met/exceeded at all times
– Ensure quality standards and procedures are observed and maintained
– Establish and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the Hydraulics Technician will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Needs to have hydraulics experience but can be from any background.
– Need to own/supply their own tools
– A technically minded person
– Ability to interoperate manuals and record inspection findings
– Good understanding of MS Office and business systems and procedures
– Right to Work in the UK already obtained
