About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading UK Independent MRO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to help support their business activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The Role:
- Be the first point of contact for all HR related queries
- Ensure the HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation including right to work
- Manage the recruitment process from advertising to onboarding new employees
- Assist with internal employee payroll
- Provide a high quality HR generalist service to all group stakeholders in line with relevant employment legislation and company processes promoting best practice at all times
- Coach, assist and advise managers on all HR related practices and employee relations
- HR strategic planning with department managers in line with the company’s vision and values
- Review and update of all company policies and procedures in line with relevant employment law and legislation
- Produce and analyse relevant HR data for reporting to departmental line managers – providing seamless information for future company improvements and success
- Employee performance – working and assisting with line managers to compliment company success through team performance
- Manage resource planning activities alongside line managers to identify needs for additional staff within the teams and improve resourcing techniques where necessary
- Working with line managers to support and retain key talent
- Develop and promote company reward schemes
- Manage and maintain employee benefits packages
- Other duties as directed by Line Manager
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Excellent management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence
- High level of confidentiality
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own work load and assist others with prioritising theirs
- Excellent I.T. and communication skills
- Able to work well within a team whilst also using own initiative
- Pleasant telephone manner
- Flexibility within the role
- Good level of commercial awareness
- Experience of 5+ years within a HR generalist role.
- HR Management and/or HR Business Partner experience is essential
- Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Management CIPD accredited or equivalent relevant work experience
Desirable:
- Experience within the aviation industry (desirable)
