JMC Aviation is working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Biggin Hill, looking to recruit a new Ground Support Equipment Supervisor to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Biggin Hill, UK.
Monday to Friday, working 07:00 to 16:00 or 08:00 to 17:00.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to determine work procedures and prepare work schedules to ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner.
Other Duties Involve
– Ensure all ground support equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition
– Ensure all tools are maintained in a serviceable condition
– Operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tooling
– Order parts required for preventive maintenance and major repairs
– Coordinate scheduling of equipment to be repaired
– Coordinate all quality assurance inspections on equipment
– Adjust errors and address complaints
– Ensure ground support equipment repair deadlines are met
In order to be successful in this role the Ground Support Equipment Supervisor will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
– Must possess a valid driver’s license
– Must be eligible for airside driving permit
– Ground support equipment experience, avionic or vehicle electrical experience is essential
– Thorough knowledge of all aspects of operation
– Right to live and work in the UK
