JMC Aviation is working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Hamburg, looking to recruit a new Engine Mechanic to join their team.
This client is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft, from commercial to VIP and special mission aircraft. This vacancy is available due to growth within the organisation.
This is a Permanent Position based in Hamburg.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to assemble and disassemble engines and engine modules.
Other Duties Involve
– Inspecting and repairing engines and engine parts
In order to be successful in this role the Engine Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– MRO engine overhaul/base maintenance experience
– Experience as a workscope approval holder
– Experience on CFM56 engine type (V2500 and LEAP-1A engine types also considered)
– Engine/module disassembly and assembly experience essential
– Engine balancing, boroscope and inspection experience desirable
– Advanced English language knowledge essential, German language skills desirable
– Readiness for shift work (different shift models with compensations)
