JMC Aviation are working with a component repair company based in Saffron Walden, looking to recruit a new Electrical Workshop Technician to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position, working 08:00 – 16:30, Monday- Friday..

The Role
– Testing, repairing and overhauling of Aircraft components, such as NAV lights, power supplies, ballast units, control units, VHF COMM panels, ovens and water boilers.
– Working in accordance with technical publications such as CMMs & AMMs.
– Fault find down to component level.
– Correlating all work carried out in accordance with part 145 requirements.
– Working to circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams.
In order to be successful in this role the ideal Electrical Workshop Technician will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and attributes:
– Recognised engineering qualification such as BTEC, BNC, ONC or HNC/HND.
– Demonstratable experience from an aviation or engineering background.
– Electronic, electrical, electro-mechanical skills
– Understanding of technical Publications
– Knowledge of Commercial Aerospace working practices is desirable
– Must have the right to work in the UK.
