JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new B2 Licensed Engineer to join their team.
This client is a leading MRO dealing with line and base maintenance as well as interior modifications and fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.
This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester, Monday – Friday either early 7.00- 3.30pm or 3.00- 11.30pm

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of their company approvals
Other duties involve:
-Ensuring all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished
-Supporting adhoc AOG requirements
-Defect rectification on inbound aircraft
-Carrying out engineering dispatch of all aircraft as required
-Ensuring all required documentation is completed
-Complying with all company procedure, policies, regulations and MOE
-Using customer and company processes, order spares to meet work requirements, complete associated paperwork for unserviceable components and record all maintenance activity performed with accurate man-hour bookings
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the B2 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
-Right to live and work in the UK
– Part 66 UK CAA B2 License
– Ideally type rated on the A320/A330/B777 (recency not required) however type courses are available
-Previous Base Maintenance experience
– Must have wide body experience
