JMC are working with an MRO company based in Heathrow, looking to recruit a new B1 Licensed Engineer Shift Leader to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Heathrow, working 5/5/4 on days and nights.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to effectively manage all shift activities and responsibilities including efficient use of manpower.
Other Duties Involve
– Maintain awareness of company Health & Safety policy including encouraging a safety culture
– Manage and maintain a safe and efficient line maintenance operation
– Ensure shift levels and skills are sufficient to achieve planned workload in line with Production Planning Process
– Ensure a good relationship is maintained between all line stations and interfacing departments
– Review Customer Work requests daily, ensuring spares have been identified/received and placed on Pre-load
– Effective management, development and motivation of the team
In order to be successful in this role the B1 Licensed Engineer Shift Leader will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Supervisory and/or managerial experience
– Technical experience in aviation and experience of certifying aircraft with a UK/EASA Part 66 License
– Right to live and work in the UK
