JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new Avionic Mechanic to join their team.
This client is a leading MRO dealing with line and base maintenance as well as interior modifications and fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.
This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester, Monday – Friday either early 7.00- 3.30pm or 3.00- 11.30pm

– Sick pay starts from first day at 3 weeks full and 3 weeks half pay, after a years’ service this increases to 6 weeks full and 6 weeks half. 5 years + 12 weeks full, 12 weeks half.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to install complex wiring harnesses and modifications to existing wiring, within Avionic shelves and panels
Other duties involve:
-Full removal and strip of equipment
-All aspects of electrical and avionics work
-Wiring termination and testing
-Removing and installing of various shelves, panels and equipment
-Loom manufacturing and testing
-Assisting with systems tests
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the Avionic Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
-Right to live and work in the UK
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an avionic mechanic
-Completed an engineering apprenticeship, ideally in aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
