JMC Aviation are working with an Aircraft Manufacturer based in Farnborough, looking to recruit a new Avionic Fitter to join their team.  
This client is an aircraft manufacturer that also handle line, base and interior maintenance for their customers, focusing on development and sustainability. The company value integrity and strive to creating a positive work environment that fosters respect.  
     
This is a Permanent Position based in Farnborough working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern between 07:00 – 19:00.

The Role        
     
The primary purpose of this role is to performs or assists with inspection, maintenance and repair of aircraft systems and structures.         
     
Other duties involve:        
     
– Performing aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications under supervision of certifying staff. Assist with movement of aircraft as required    
– Completing CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paper work in a timely manner        
– Following standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment (external power carts, hydraulic power units, hydraulic lift platforms, forklifts, compressed gas cylinders, etc.)         
– Using material tracking system to create parts demand, and to charge labor to Work Orders, items, and squawks        
– Collecting and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic and de-icing fluids, and solvent rags        
– In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required    
         
Skills and experience required        
– Secondary school education with GSE Grade C or above in English, Mathematics        
– Recognised Aviation industry approved apprenticeship with experience within a EASA Part 145 organisation        
– Working knowledge of EASA regulations, process specifications,        
– Experience of Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures        
– Right to live and work in the UK
