We are looking for an experienced M2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our maintenance operations in Thunder Bay (YQT). The successful candidate will perform, inspect, and certify maintenance on Boeing 737 aircraft, including Classic, NG, and MAX variants.

This is a hands-on role within a growing maintenance team that values professionalism, precision, and a strong commitment to safety. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment supporting line maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on Boeing 737 aircraft.

  • Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues as required.

  • Conduct detailed inspections and ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate and compliant.

  • Certify maintenance tasks performed within the scope of your M2 license and company authorization.

  • Follow company procedures, Transport Canada CARs, and OEM maintenance manuals at all times.

  • Participate in AOG support, troubleshooting, and return-to-service activities as needed.

  • Mentor apprentices and promote a positive safety culture within the hangar and line environment.

  • Maintain effective communication with Quality Assurance, Maintenance Control, and Engineering.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Transport Canada AME License – Category M2.

  • Demonstrated experience working on Boeing 737 aircraft (Classic, NG, or MAX).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of line or heavy maintenance experience on large transport-category aircraft.

  • Strong understanding of CARs, MEL/CDL, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and aircraft maintenance manuals.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to obtain RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred Assets

  • Boeing 737 type endorsement or manufacturer-approved training.

  • Experience with other Boeing or Airbus aircraft types.

  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (e.g., AMOS, TRAX, WinAir).

  • Previous experience in a Transport Canada–approved AMO (Part 145) environment.
