About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Interior Specialist to join a leading aerospace service network. This role involves fabricating, installing, and refurbishing aircraft interior furnishings while adhering to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, install, and refurbish aircraft interior equipment per work orders or customer requests
- Complete customer requests including carpeting, upholstery, side panels, card tables, aircraft cabinets, and glare shields
- Adhere to general work requirements, environmental health, and safety policies
- Participate in 5S initiatives to maintain organized, safe workspaces
- Document all work in accordance with manuals, regulations, and company standards
- Assist with other maintenance disciplines or aircraft cleaning as required
- May work at off-site locations when needed
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of interiors experience (wood finish, soft goods, automotive, RV, or marine interiors)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings
- Basic PC skills for documentation and reporting
- Good written and verbal communication skills to report aircraft status
