JMC are working exclusively with a highly respected Maintenance Repair Organisation based near Cardiff, looking to recruit an A Licensed Engineer to join their team.
This company are global leaders in Aircraft Storage, Disassembly and Storage services. The role has arisen as the company is growing on the maintenance arm of their business, and they are now looking to open a new hangar later this year. This is a Permanent Position based near Cardiff, working days only.

The responsibilities of the A Licensed Engineer will involve:
– Perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Duty Engineer or Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineer
– Demonstrate applicable technical knowledge of aircraft with hand skills required to carry out tasks assigned
– Ensure correct completion of paperwork (within your scope) and forms as required in addition to computer based reporting and recording systems
In order to be successful in this role, the A Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Hold either a UK CAA A License or EASA License.
– Experience working on narrow body, commercial aircraft would be advantageous.
– Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
– Ideally hold a time served apprenticeship
– Eligible to live and work in the UK.
