About the Role
JMC Aviation is working with a global leader in the Aerospace, Defence, and Security sector, seeking experienced Fuel Tank Engineers to support maintenance operations on B707 AWACS and C-130 aircraft in Italy.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical maintenance activities within a fast-paced, high-standard aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft fuel systems, tanks, and associated components.

Conduct sealant removal and reapplication in accordance with AMM and OEM specifications.

Carry out leak detection, vapour barrier replacement, and functional testing.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards, maintaining strict adherence to fuel tank entry procedures.

Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company and EASA/Part-145 standards.

Collaborate effectively with engineering and quality assurance teams.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
-
Proven experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment.

Practical experience performing fuel tank maintenance, repair, and inspection.

Valid Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certification.

Right to work in Italy / EU Passport holder.
Desirable:
-
Previous experience on B707, C-130, or similar aircraft.

Familiarity with OEM and MRO procedures for fuel system maintenance.

Strong teamwork, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
