JMC Aviation are working with an Aircraft Manufacturer based in Farnborough, looking to recruit a new Interior Fitter to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Farnborough.
Working a 4 on/4 off night shift pattern (7pm – 7am).

The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to remove and install aircraft interior under supervision

Responsibilities:
– Safely perform the removal, installation and maintenance of aircraft interiors (including but not limited to, galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and vanity ledge fill panels).
– Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and regulatory paperwork, sign¿offs and quality specifications.
– Removal, Installation and Replacement of soft furnishings including carpets.
– Repair and trimming of interior products.
– Use the computer tracking system to create parts demand, raise defect cards.
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the Interior Fitter will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Secondary school education with GSE Grade C or above in English, Mathematics.
– Recognised Aviation industry approved apprenticeship with experience within a EASA Part 145 organisation.
– Working knowledge of EASA regulations, process specifications,
– Experience of Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
– Right to live and work in the UK
