JMC are working with a surface treatment company based in Chelmsford, looking to recruit a new Production Operative to join their team.
This client offers a range of surface treatments and non destructive testing, creating aerospace components using CNC Machines to fabricate sheet metal. This family run company provide an outstanding customer service and helping their employees progress within their roles.
This is a Permanent Position based in Chelmsford.
39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday.

– £14,50 – £15,00 (dependant on experience)

The Role
The Production Operative will be responsible for carrying out a range of Post paint chemical treatments on Aluminium, Stainless Steel and other metal components.
Other duties involve:
– Work to simple instructions provided on job cards and supporting documentation
– Manual handling of both small and large aircraft components will be required
– Adherence to health and safety requirements
– To be a team player that can carry out extra overtime hours as and when required by the business
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the Production Operative will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Experience of wet treatments processes would be an advantage but training can be given to the right applicant.
– Experience in working in a Production environment is advantageous but not essential
– Right to Work in the UK already obtained
