About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Material Planner to support their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Focal for all material requirements at the facility.
- Utilisation of maintenance and stock management system in SAP.
- Keep accurate information of orders, purchases and tracking information.
- Be able to work to process, with attention to detail and provide accurate and timely updates to key stakeholders.
- To liaise with Check Managers to collate accurate critical materials list.
- Carry out any other duties within their competences as required.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Experience of working in a supply chain or material coordination role, should be knowledgeable of industry and regulatory agency requirements as applicable to the control and management of materials.
- Previous experience of using SAP or equivalent MMS system is highly desirable.
- Engineering business awareness in relation to supply chain flow of materials to production.
- Sound understanding of the overall engineering operation and interdependencies of departments within.
- Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and access).
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
