About the Role
JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Aircraft Cleaners to support aircraft cleaning, sanitising and corrosion-prevention activities in Pisa, Italy.
This is a great opportunity to work within a high-quality aerospace environment, carrying out specialist cleaning and treatment activities on aircraft interiors, exteriors and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, clean and sanitise aircraft interiors and exteriors using approved aviation products
- Carry out detailed cleaning of aircraft structures, components and designated areas
- Remove and apply anti-corrosion products such as Dinitrol or equivalent
- Carry out cleaning and anti-corrosion treatment within areas such as landing gear nacelles
- Remove and refit internal thermo-acoustic coatings/insulation
- Carry out repairs to damaged sections of thermo-acoustic material where required
- Work safely at height and operate PLE/platform lifts where required
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with technical documentation, safety requirements and aerospace quality standards
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Previous hands-on aircraft cleaning, washing and/or sanitising experience
- Experience cleaning both aircraft interiors and exteriors
- Experience using approved aircraft cleaning products and chemicals
- Experience working safely around aircraft structures and components
- Trained to work at height and/or operate PLE/platform lifts
- Mandatory courses, kept current: FOD, HF, SMS, MAL/NAM, EWIS, FTS, MMOE and MANMAN
- Right to work in the EU
Desirable:
- Experience using Dinitrol or equivalent anti-corrosion products
- Experience removing and applying aircraft anti-corrosion treatments
- Experience working within landing gear/nacelle areas
- Experience removing, refitting or repairing thermo-acoustic coatings/insulation
- Previous military aircraft experience
- Experience within aircraft production and/or maintenance/MRO environments
