Additional Information:
- All new starters are required to complete a 2-day online induction, which is fully paid.
- A tooling deduction of £0.48 per hour applies.
About the Role
JMC Aviation is currently recruiting for a Licensed Engineer to support Line Maintenance operations at London Luton Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading aviation organisation on an ongoing, long-term contract, working within a fast-paced operational environment where safety, compliance and technical excellence are at the forefront.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data.
- Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your Part-66 licence and company approvals.
- Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects to support on-time aircraft departures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in compliance with UK CAA/EASA regulations and company procedures.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
- Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure operational efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Valid UK CAA or EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- Previous experience carrying out aircraft line maintenance.
- Strong understanding of aviation safety and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern, including days and nights.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Up-to-date licence and supporting documentation.
Desirable:
- Current aircraft type rating(s).
- Experience working within a commercial airline or MRO environment.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
