JMC are working with an MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit a new Workshop Supervisor to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester.
Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 16:00 and Friday 07:00 – 13:00.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the daily activities of the Inspection Teams and Mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed.
Other Duties Involve
– Ensuring that all Inspectors are trained, qualified and up to date with current regulations
– Conducting performance evaluations and provide feedback to Inspection Team members
– Identifying areas for improvement and overseeing the implementation of corrective actions
– Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of all inspections
– Preparing detailed reports on inspections and audits, highlighting any non-conformities and recommending corrective actions
– Maintaining records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
– Assessing and accepting work scope requests from customers
– Ensuring status reports are sent in a timely manner to meet customer requirements
– Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and customers
– Representing the organisation during regulatory audits and inspections
– Investigating incidents and accidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence
In order to be successful in this role the Workshop Supervisor will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– Previous workshop/operations management experience
– Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
– Must have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at a technical level
– Hold the right to work in the UK – proof is required as part of our shortlisting process
