JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Southend, looking to recruit a new Workshop Administrator to join their team.  
   
This client is a leading MRO which have been operating for over 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and helping their employees progress within their roles. They offer in-house component repair, overhaul and maintenance of a range of aircraft types.  
   
This is a Permanent Position based in Southend.
40 hours per week, working Monday – Friday (08:00 – 16:30).

The Role  
The primary purpose of this role is coordinating repairs through our Evacuation Slide Workshop and managing key accounts for customers.  
   
Other duties involve:  
– Induct new orders into the workshop.  
– Work directly with Workshop Technicians to allocate work, receive new orders, and chase units through to completion against customer driven targets  
– Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments, providing daily feedback and updates on open repairs through to order completion.  
– Work towards departmental sales targets alongside the Commercial Manager.  
– Build and nurture customer relationships, coordinate open orders, and maintain up-to-date order diary notes and customer status reports  
– Manage potential customer complaints, report on internal quality issues.  
– Evidence and report customer-induced damage, gather commercially sensitive information from customers on pricing and performance.  
– Prepare commercial quotes and assist in delivering contract proposals, pricing, and presentations.  
– Advise and assist with contract queries, invoicing issues, and credit control  
   
Skills and experience required.  
In order to be successful in this role the Workshop Administrator will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:  
– High level of customer service skills.  
– Reliable, confident, and computer literate.  
– Good working knowledge of databases and appropriate software packages.  
– Right to live and work in the UK
