JMC Aviation is excited to present an excellent opportunity for Structures Technicians to join a global leader in the business aviation industry, located in Hartford, CT.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate, overtime pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Key responsibilities include:
– Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
– Fabricate or modify structural components and modifications on aircraft parts.
– Carry out minor structural repairs on composite components, whether attached or detached.
– Assist in inspecting aircraft structures for hidden damage.
– Remove and install aircraft components as needed.
– Provide support with mechanical and electrical removals and installations when necessary.
How to Excel in This Role:
– You have completed training from a Sheet Metal Aircraft Technical school or have equivalent education.
– You bring at least 1 year of experience in aircraft structural modifications.
– You own a basic set of hand tools and can demonstrate proper tool inventory and control.
– You are capable of obtaining the necessary Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications, as required.
– Possibility of unscheduled overtime, including weekends, holidays, and non-scheduled workdays.
– You can obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, if needed.
– Having an A Certification, A&P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate is preferred.
