JMC Aviation are working with an FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new Storesperson to join their team.
This client is well known for outstanding levels of service in their FBO facility. As a family run business with multiple decades of experience, they strive for excellence throughout their skilled workforce as they deal with in-house engineering and support services on business jets.
This is a Permanent Position based in Stansted, Working 0700 – 1900 on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern

The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Stores department. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to maintaining high standards of service and compliance in our logistics processes.
Other duties involve:
– Assist in the day-to-day running of the Stores department to ensure seamless operations.
– Issue tooling, consumables, and rotable aircraft parts to engineers, ensuring accurate records and traceability.
– Receive and inspect a variety of aircraft parts, adhering to strict operational procedures and quality standards
– Maintain proper material handling and storage conditions in accordance with regulatory standards.
– Ensure all dispatched items are routed correctly, with special attention to the handling of dangerous goods.
– Perform regular inventory checks, focusing on shelf life and tooling due for calibration to ensure readiness.
– Create, maintain, and archive logs and documentation for all operational activities
– Control and dispose of waste products responsibly, aligning with company and environmental regulations.
– Keep the working environment clean and organised, optimising space for efficiency.
– Proactively seek operational improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
– Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, maintaining strong relationships
– Operate company vehicles as necessary to support operational needs
– Be prepared for out-of-hours work as required to meet business demands.
– Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the company.
Skills and experience required:
In order to be successful in this role the Storesperson will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Proven experience in a similar role within an aviation logistics environment.
– Familiarity with Quality Inspection processes and aerospace trace documentation.
– Proficient in ERP software and Microsoft Office applications.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Full clean UK Driving Licence.
– Right to live and work in the UK
