Rotor Blade Repair Technician

JMC are currently looking for experienced Rotor Blade Repair Technicians to engage with a global leading Aerospace, Defence and Security Organisation for a permanent role based out of Philadelphia.    
The Rotor Blade Repair Technician will be responsible to perform repairs and modifications on Flight Critical aircraft's components, clean & maintain work areas alongside comply with all company policies & Health and Safety Requirements.      
Other duties to be performed –      
– Perform tear down and repair of flight critical aircraft components in accordance with technical instruction provided.    
– Perform sanding and paint preparation operations on Flight Critical components in accordance with instructions provided and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.    
– Perform Shipping and receiving functions to include unpacking, container repair, preparation, and packing.    
– Perform Rotor Blade Balance functions as directed.    
The successful technicians would need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes –    
– Technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.    
– Composite component repair, familiarization, paint, and paint preparation experience preferred.    
– 3 years' aircraft maintenance experience required.    
– Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.    
Successful technicians will also have the following Licenses/Certifications –    
– Former FAA Airman Certification for Rotor Blade Repairs is required.    
– Must have valid FAA A&P license or ability to obtain FAA Airman Repairman Certification    
– Must have valid driver's license.
