Paint Sprayer (Nights)

JMC Aviation are working with a surface treatment company based in Chelmsford, looking to recruit a new Paint Sprayer (Nights) to join their team.  

This client offers a range of surface treatments and non destructive testing, creating aerospace components using CNC Machines to fabricate sheet metal. This family run company provide an outstanding customer service and helping their employees progress within their roles.  

This is a Permanent Position based in Chelmsford.
Working 39 hours a week (Monday – Wednesday 17:00 – 03:30, Thursdays 16:00 – 01:30).

The Role  

The Paint Shop Sprayer is responsible for preparing and painting a variety of jobs within the Paint Shop department.  

   

Other duties involve:  

– Work independently and as part of the paint shop team.  

– Complete daily paint logs by the end of each shift and ensure job packs are fully stamped.  

– Maintain high standards of work to ensure deadlines are met.  

– Keep paint booths clean at all times.  

   

Skills and experience required.  

In order to be successful in this role the Paint Sprayer (Nights) will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:  

– Proven experience in an aerospace paint shop is preferred but not essential, as onsite training will be provided to the right candidate.  

– Proven experience in understanding job pack data and working to specified standards.  

– A recognised apprenticeship or college course is preferred.  

– Right to Work in the UK.
