Meet our Abu Dhabi Team

Back to news

Meet Zac Clarke, our Vice President – Engineering & Recruitment of our recently opened office in Abu Dhabi!

Tell us about yourself – what has led you to this point?

I’ve spent the past 10 years in the aviation industry, specialising in recruitment and talent acquisition. I place the highest value on building strong relationships based on transparency and trust – principles that I can see JMC Aviation uphold at every level which excites me. It feels like a great fit for me culturally!

When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me on the golf course with my son or enjoying some downtime with the family at a beach or country club.

What will be your focus for the first 6 months in your role?

My role is an exciting one! I’m proud to be leading the expansion of JMC Aviation’s services from the UK, Europe, and North America into the Middle East. The first six months will be a busy and rewarding period, with my key priorities including:

/ Ensuring JMC Aviation is fully compliant within the UAE and strategically positioned to deliver on our commitments to clients

/ Meeting with both existing and new clients to demonstrate why JMC Aviation should be their partner of choice for all their recruitment and engineering requirements

What excites you most about joining JMC Aviation?

JMC Aviation is renowned for providing comprehensive, world-class solutions across the aviation sector – extending well beyond traditional workforce services. Our proven capabilities set us apart from competitors, and I look forward to bringing that same standard of excellence to the Middle East region as our presence continues to grow.

What do you perceive being the biggest challenge facing the industry?

The shortage of skilled manpower is not a new challenge – but it’s one that’s becoming increasingly critical for the growth of the sector. Forecasts suggest a global shortfall of more than 400,000 technicians in the coming years. A worrying reality, especially as airlines, MROs, and OEMs continue to struggle to attract and retain experienced professionals.
