JMC Aviation is working with an Aerospace, Manufacturing and MRO Solutions Provider based in Hamburg, looking to recruit a new Technical Lead to join their team.
This client works with leading aerospace businesses, offering product engineering and digital design solutions to help their customers to engineer, manufacture and realise better products, from components to interiors to MRO. This vacancy is available due to growth in the business.
This is a Permanent Position based in Hamburg, Germany.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support to the team.
Other Duties Involve
– Resolving technical queries raised by teams
– Designing quality checks (M1020 Approver)
– Being up to date with Airbus golden rules and TRM
– Reviewing and validating RCA
– Checklist management – periodic review and update
– Continuous improvement
– Supporting QIM and quality exchange
– Providing support to dedicated quality check team
– Skill evaluation and development
– Knowledge management
– Supporting TTL Head of Engineering as Technical Advisor
In order to be successful in this role the Technical Lead will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
– Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical or electrical engineering
– Experience in Airbus electrical system installation rules and DMU knowledge
– Worked with Airbus A320 aircrafts either in current or previous role
– Experience in supporting and advising in performing concept and trade-off studies
– Experience in proposing and implementing improvements of system installations with impact on weight, lead-time and cost
– Experience in networking and liaising with a broad range of airframe, systems and cabin sub-domains including industrialisation and standardisation
– Knowledge and experience in working with Airbus A320/SA programs, processes, methods and tools
– Experience in troubleshooting technical queries
– Experience in working with onsite/onshore and offshore models
– Experience in identifying and implementation of continuous improvement
– Right to live and work in the EU
