Job Spec:

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be a core member of our Development team and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and modular solutions to improve our product. As a smaller team, we value the creative contribution of all team members, so are looking for someone with the willingness and skills to be heavily involved in the design process.

Responsibilities
 

  • Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and interactive front-end interfaces.
  • Implement secure, scalable, and efficient back-end systems and APIs.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across the full stack and provide timely resolutions and solutions.
  • Liaise with the Product and Testing team throughout the development process and remain adaptable for useful changes.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in full stack development, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products and processes.

Required Experience
 

  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Developer or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • At least 1 year of recent commercial experience using both TypeScript and .NET (C#).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Typescript) and front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, Vue.js – Angular preferred.
  • Strong experience with back-end development using .NET (C#) and related frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of database systems (e.g. SQL Server, Redis)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile practices

Desirable Experience
 

  • Specific experience in databases including design, optimization, and query performance.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practises such as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (preferred), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
