JMC Aviation are working with an international cargo company based in Bournemouth, looking to recruit a new MOC Duty Engineer to join their team.
This client is known as the worlds only A340-600F operator, providing unique cargo solutions along with a unique P2F conversion. This is a Permanent Position based in Bournemouth, working a Continental Night Shift Pattern (4/5/5) with 12 hour shifts.

The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to maximise aircraft availability, by coordinating with Flight Operations and CAMO departments, ensuring minimum disruption and performance of required maintenance, while ensuring a safe and airworthy operation.
Other Duties:
– Ensures that the aircraft are released timely, airworthy and in a safe manner
– Liaises closely with operations to ensure aircraft meet scheduled departures
– Manages any AOG recovery with other stakeholders as necessary, including preparation of work orders, one-off authorisation requests, etc., as appropriate
– Maintains direct and real time communication with OCC at ALL times
– Coordinates Aircraft Maintenance Schedule/ Operations Schedule, Base Maintenance and Line Stations to align aircraft for defect rectification
– Liaises closely with line maintenance providers to ensure that all planned maintenance is performed
– Ensures that all daily activity and reports are maintained in line with the agreed procedures
– Supports contracted AMO and engineering department on interpretation of Maintenance Data and guidance for troubleshooting defects
– Supports both Flight crew and contracted maintenance providers on the completion of the Electronic TechLog, if necessary
– Prepares daily critical and delay reports
– Maintains the aircraft to agreed levels of deferred defects (MELs and ADDs)
Skills and experience required:
In order to be successful, the MOC Duty Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
– Aircraft Maintenance Experience preferably within MOC or line maintenance.
– Adavantageous to hold a CAA or EASA B1 or B2 engineers licence with an Airbus Type rating
– Well versed with AirNavX/MyBoeingFleet and standard MS Office suite
– Good knowledge of both Part 145 and Part M regulations
