About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanic to support the support the activities of the planning and operations department . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The Role:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including airframe, engine, avionics, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Inspect aircraft and components for wear, damage, or defects in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues and carry out corrective actions
- Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall aircraft parts and components
- Conduct functional tests and operational checks after maintenance or repairs
- Interpret and follow maintenance manuals, technical drawings, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives
- Accurately document all maintenance activities in aircraft logbooks and maintenance systems
- Ensure compliance with aviation authority regulations and company procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and flight crews as required
- Support aircraft on ground operations, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations when necessary
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized aircraft maintenance equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to Live and Work in the UK
