JMC Aviation are working with a MRO based near Cardiff, looking to recruit a new Aircraft Planning Officer to join their team.          
  
This company are global leaders in Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Storage and Disassembly services.            

The role has arisen as the company is growing on the maintenance arm of their business, while welcoming the introduction of a new hangar. The team are dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services, ensuring value at every step for some of the world’s leading lessors and airlines.    

In a varied and dynamic environment, the company work with a diverse range of aircraft types and requirements – from short-term storage, complex modification packages, interior reconfigurations, to end-of-lease maintenance activities.    

 This is a Permanent Position based near Cardiff, the working hours are Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week.

 The Role:          
The primary purpose of this role is to administer all aspects of Aircraft Planning related to part 145 as specified under maintenance activities.      

Other duties involve:          

  • Evaluate work scopes for capacity and scope
  • Identify material and tooling requirements from work scopes 
  • Create and stage workorders
  • Plan work orders, ensuring on resource availability
  • Co-Chair aircraft pre-input meetings with the Maintenance Manger
  • Manage communications with CAMO`s regarding work packages, workorders and project progress
  • Management of technical records

Management of technical publications

In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Planning Officer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:          

  • 3+ years airline or MRO industry experience in maintenance planning (3rd party MRO experience advantageous)
  • In depth knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 legislation
  • Strong motivational skills to bring out the best in team members.
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results.
  • Positive approach towards identifying problems and solutions
  • Highly organised person, capable of coordinating complex and dynamic projects
  • Good communication and team working skills
