JMC Aviation is currently recruiting for an experienced AME M2 to join an established aviation operation in Kelowna, British Columbia.
This is a great opportunity for a licensed AME M2 to join a busy maintenance environment, working on a range of commercial and specialist aircraft. We are looking for candidates with a strong hands-on maintenance background and, importantly, experience working on B737NG, B737 MAX or Lockheed L-382 Hercules aircraft.
The Role
As an AME M2, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs and modifications in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and Transport Canada regulatory requirements.
You will work as part of an experienced maintenance team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs and modifications
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical and aircraft system defects
- Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with approved maintenance manuals and procedures
- Carry out inspections and ensure aircraft are maintained to the required standard
- Complete and certify maintenance documentation and records as required
- Work safely and effectively as part of a wider maintenance team
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Transport Canada and company requirements
- Support heavy maintenance and other aircraft maintenance activities as required
About You
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Valid Transport Canada AME M2 licence
- 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Hands-on experience working on B737NG, B737 MAX or Lockheed L-382 Hercules
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working within a regulated aviation maintenance environment
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive, reliable and professional approach to work
