JMC Aviation are working with a dynamic aviation organization offering a comprehensive suite of services, including training, aircraft operations, maintenance, and storage management solutions. With EASA approvals under Part-145, Part-147, and Part-CAMO company based in Malta, is looking to recruit Permanent Licensed Engineer/ Flying Spanners to join their team in Malta.
This client is an up-and-coming CAMO organisation and provides services such as consultancy, compliance support and airworthiness support to maximise business efficiency will minimising costs.
This is a Great Opportunity and open to Licensed Engineers who will spend 50% of their time operating as Flying Spanners. The client based in Malta does not require relocation. 50% of the year is spent as a flying spanner, and the other 50% would be spend as a Licensed Engineer in Malta. They can offer a variety of rotas, up to 30 on/ 30 off.
Job Duties For Permanent Licensed Engineer/ Flying Spanner
Carry out maintenance tasks on customer aircraft in compliance with contracted services and customer expectation
Certify to the fullest extent of their authorisations held, including a CRS in the aircraft technical logboo
Aircraft maintenance and associated activities are conducted in accordance with approved data and company procedures (MOE)
All maintenance is correctly certified in accordance with the customer’s requirements
Supervise and control the daily operation of aircraft maintenance of the customer’s aircraft
Monitor aircraft maintenance operations and provide technical assistance / management co-ordination
Temporary assignments to line stations within the company network
Monitor that all tools, equipment, personnel and materials are present to perform the planned task
Notify the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require their attention in respect of personnel, facilities and tools & equipment
Alert the customer when unforeseen problems arise so that appropriate arrangements can be made to cover all contingencies
Monitor the rectification or deferral of defects in accordance with the customer’s procedures
Manage AOG events for customer aircraft
Aircraft towing driving and assistance
Assist with training and development of company staff
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the B1 Licensed Engineer/ Flying Spanner will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
B1/B2 EASA Part-66 licence with type rating on at least one of the following types: A320 CEO & NEO B737 CL & NGA330 B777
Previous towing experience will be an asset
In possession of a driving license
